Chad McQueen, the only son of Steve McQueen and known for his role as Dutch in the “Karate Kid” franchise, has passed away at his ranch in Palm Desert, California.
His longtime attorney, Arthur Barens, confirmed that Chad died on Wednesday, September 13, 2024, from organ failure, according to TMZ.
At the time of his death, the Firepower actor was surrounded by his children, life partner, and attorney.
Sources indicate that Chad’s health began to deteriorate after an injury a few years ago, leading to progressive organ failure and ultimately his passing.
