Clint Eastwood’s Long-Time Partner Passes Away at 61: Actor Confirms in Heartbreaking Statement

Clint Eastwood has announced the death of his long-time partner, Christina Sandera, who was 61 years old.

“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” ” Eastwood, 94, shared in a statement last week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The couple had been together for nearly a decade. Although they maintained a private relationship, they made public appearances together at the premieres of The Mule (2018) and The 15:17 to Paris (2018).

The couple made their first public appearance together as a pair at the 2015 Academy Awards, where Eastwood’s acclaimed film American Sniper, based on the autobiography of former U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, was nominated for six awards.

However, Us Weekly reported their romantic involvement as early as June 2014. At that time, it was said that Sandera had worked at the Mission Ranch hotel and restaurant in Carmel, California, which is owned by Eastwood.

Six months later, the renowned actor had completed his divorce from his second wife, Dina Eastwood, after a 17-year marriage.

Regarding additional details about Sandera’s passing, a Warner Bros. representative informed The Hollywood Reporter: “No further information will be forthcoming.”

At 94 years old, Eastwood is reportedly busy working on what may be his final film.

Fans are eagerly anticipating his upcoming project, Juror No. 2, with many believing it will be the concluding chapter of Eastwood’s illustrious career, after which he may retire and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Rest in peace, Christina Sandera.
