The 1980s song “You Can’t Make Old Friends,” by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers

Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers have worked together on a number of songs and have always been good friends. Both artists initially in their careers faced similar challenges in their professional lives. Dolly was a “special person for Kenny” and his best buddy.
