How does Yana Muratova, who underwent 19 surgeries for her nose, now appear?

A girl from Stavropol named Yana Muratova was featured in the “Live” program that debuted on one of the prominent networks five years ago. Since she was a little child, Yana has had a hemangioma on her nose, a congenital benign tumor that first developed during pregnancy and was made worse by a long and challenging delivery.

The child arrived at the program already having had 16 difficult operations, all of which had failed to remove the tumor, which continued to grow. The girl’s health started to decline after the final two treatments, which had a highly unfavorable effect.

Later, an Israeli clinic offered her an operation, but the cost was too high for Yana’s family — about $50,000.

The girl’s final chance was to take part in the “Live” program. And it paid off: once Yana Muratova’s story aired on national television, lots of people learned about her, including medical professionals from a Moscow facility who promised to provide numerous free procedures.

Yana moved from Stavropol to Moscow for more operations or procedures over the course of the five-year treatment process. These efforts weren’t in vain after all. Her face is virtually scar- and puffiness-free, the tumor has significantly shrunk, and the girl herself is positively radiant.

The course of treatment has not been completed. According to the forecasts of the capital’s specialists, Yana has 3-4 operations left to perform.

After the TV show, Yana was hit by a stream of messages from caring people on social networks. For the most part, they were sympathetic and supportive. Some shared their experience of overcoming a similar illness.

“There were also funny messages,” she laughs. — Young people offered to arrange a personal life and left phone numbers. But alas, I don’t have time for that yet. I spend whole days at work, and during breaks, I go to Moscow for operations. The next one, by the way, will be in September or October of this year.”

Yana has set a goal for herself: first, she will complete the treatment, and then she will take up her career.
In the future, the girl dreams of getting married and having children. We hope everything goes well for her!
