Susan Boyle’s Iconic Les Miserables Performance Shocks Audiences And Critics

Susan Boyle, the worldwide phenomenon, not only returns to America’s Got Talent in her most recent performance, but also to the song that launched her career.

Susan approaches the stage after receiving the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell for her rendition of the Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” in this early peek from America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

I’ve wanted to perform since I was a young kid, says the 47-year-old vocalist at the start of the film. She has used singing to assist her through some difficult times in her life. Susna’s mother had always encouraged her to pursue her goals, but it wasn’t until her mother died that she decided to do so.

“Everyone has objectives, and you should work towards them. “I believe I’ve been given that opportunity,” she says. She has sold more than 20 million records, so she most emphatically has. And it all began with this song, “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. She is wearing a stunning sequin dress against an eerie backdrop, with woods in the background and performers engulfed in mists and silver light.

Both the judges and the audience are rising when she finishes her performance.
