A woman who devoted her life to helping sloths created a magnificent sanctuary for them.

Rina, an ecologist, founded her group in 2014 to protect and give young sloths a chance at life. Young sloths must master the skills taught at this school in order to live in nature. She emphasized Rina’s novel strategy, the “passive approach.”

In order to use this strategy, the rescue’s workers created a large area. The cage doors are opened at a certain point, allowing the animals to walk freely until they are entirely autonomous.

Regardless of the reality that she is the one who teaches the young sloths, Rina claims to have learned a lot from them. Rina’s most difficult task is returning trained sloths into the wild. The staff of the shelter is still keeping an eye on the “graduates,” tracking their interactions and assimilation into the society of sloths.

As a result, the Institute conducts research and education on sloths. Sloths, according to Rina, taught her how to love and maintain a lifetime connection with her. What do you think this story is worth? Please notify us.
