Candace Cameron Bure is retaliating against her critics after being chastised for her support for “conventional marriage.”
We reported earlier this week that “Full House” and “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure was under fire for saying that her new network, Great American Family, would emphasize programming about “traditional marriage.”
Cameron Bure, who joined the GAF network as chief creative officer earlier this year, is now reacting to her critics and isn’t stepping down.
Cameron Bure, 46, was called a “bigot” and accused of prejudice after stating earlier this week that the GAF network will “keep conventional marriage at the heart” of its tales. The always graceful chose the high road and issued a statement in which she stood firm in her beliefs and refused to waver from the principles she cherishes.
‘I Am a Devoted Christian,’ says the author. ‘All of you who know me know beyond a shadow of a question that I have tremendous regard and concern for all people,’ Cameron Bure said. It hurts my heart that anyone could think I would intentionally damage or offend anyone.
“It saddens me that the media is frequently looking to separate us, even around a topic as comforting and merry as Christmas movies,” the singer added. But, given the toxic environment that prevails in our culture at the time, I shouldn’t be surprised. The holiday season is more essential than ever.
Cameron Bure didn’t stop there; she went on to repeat her strong religious beliefs, for which she is well-known.
“I am a fervent Believer. As a result, I believe that each and every individual bears God’s image. As a consequence, I owe it to everyone to honor them, which I do. “You already know I have a passionate and indiscriminate love for everyone,” she explained. “My heart yearns to build bridges, to love others well, to simply be a reflection of God’s enormous love for all of us,” says the author.
Cameron Bure Responds Directly to Her Critics
Cameron Bure then addressed those who have been trashing her for the past few days, both in and out of the public.
“I have a straightforward message for the media pros who are using this occasion to fan the flames of animosity and hatred: I admire you anyway. People who detest my beliefs and harass me online, I love you. “To those who have attempted to undermine my integrity, I adore you,” she said. “I adore you,” the author writes to everyone who reads this, regardless of race, faith, sexual orientation, or political party membership.
Despite her long-held wish to find a home for more faith-based programming, Cameron Bure stressed that “people of all races and genders have and will continue to add to the network in wonderful ways both in front of and behind the camera.”
“I’ve never been interested in evangelizing through my narrative; instead, I want to use it to celebrate God’s grandeur in our lives,” she added.
Cameron Bure’s closing remarks are moving.
Cameron Bure gave a stirring sermon on God in her concluding comments.
“The God we worship is an incredibly imaginative and loving God,” she proclaimed. He has fully captured my spirit, not just a small piece of it. Everything I say and do will reflect God’s love and compassion, including my interactions with people from all walks of life at work and at home.
“All of that stems from the LOVE that God himself showedered upon mankind when he gave the present of joy and forgiveness on the first Christmas morning 2000 years ago,” Cameron Bure said at the end of his address. It’s why I love Christmas stories and sharing genuine joy and harmony to billions of people around the globe. And I pray you’ll join me this Christmas season in sharing God’s optimism for the entire world out of nothing but unadulterated love. That is my holiday fantasy.
Cameron Bure is used to receiving abuse from the left because she is one of the few openly conservative Christian actresses in Hollywood. However, the anti-leftist reaction she has encountered since making her comments about “traditional marriage” has been particularly nasty, so she could benefit from our prayers right now.
Cameron Bure gets credit for consistently selecting the correct course of action in the face of adversity. Candace, you are adored!
